Dr. Lisa Ethridge
Originally from Lubbock, Texas, Dr. Lisa Ethridge came to Canyon Pet Hospital in September 2004.
Before coming to Canyon Pet, Dr. Lisa practiced medicine at Addison Animal Clinic in Twin Falls, Idaho from 1999 to 2004; and at Ark Animal Hospital in Heyburn, Idaho from 1996 to 1999.
Dr. Lisa attended Texas A&M University, and was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science in 1992 and a second Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Science in 1994. She went on to attend Texas A&M's College of Veterinary Medicine, and was awarded her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1996.
Dr. Lisa's professional interests include behavior medicine and training, reproductive work on dogs and working with wildlife—especially raptors.
Dr. Lisa shares her home with three dogs and 1 cat-one French Bulldog named Kermit the Frog Dog; a Shar Pei named Wrinkle; a Bullmastiff named Leonidas and a cat named Fergus-Ferguson McMasters.
In her spare time, Dr. Lisa enjoys dog training and competing in obedience and agility challenges, along with singing, going to the movies, reading and watching the History Channel.
