Dr. Jason Johnson
A native of Knoxville, Tennessee Dr. Jason Johnson is the newest member to join Canyon Pet Hospital's veterinary team. Dr Johnson was awarded a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from the University of Tennessee.
An avid outdoorsman, Dr. Johnson hiked the Appalachian Trail before pursuing his graduate studies in biology at the University of Miami. He obtained a Master's of Science in Biology, married the love of his life, Grace and moved to New Jersey, where they planned their escape to the American West.
Dr. Johnson attended Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences and was awarded his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May 2003.
Dr. Johnson and Grace welcomed their first child in April 2008. Their family also includes two Labrador Retrievers, Buster and Gunny and a Tokenize cat, Chatty Cat.
When not working Dr. Jason enjoys long-distance trail running, road and mountain biking, triathlons, and hiking around beautiful northern Arizona with his family.
